How to Use

VERTICAL STRAPS

Buckle the two vertical straps together. Pull on the loose end to increase mesh tension and the separation of your pack and back. It is especially important to have a tight mesh when carrying a heavy backpack and biking.

TOP ATTACHMENT

Clip the side release buckle around backpack top straps and cinch to tighten.
Make sure VentaPak logo faces outward and the vertical straps are against the backpack.

Place the lower backpack strap (at the base of it) into the buckle

Note: If needed, adjust and make the loop larger so buckle reaches backpack straps at the lowest point.

Snap the buckle close, making sure straps are towards the bottom (hinge) and applying force as needed

OPTIMIZE

  1. Loosen or tighten backpack straps to position backpack + VentaPak optimally on your back and ensure sufficient shoulder room.
  2. Pull loose ends of the vertical straps and/or loosen at the buckle to have optimal tension and separation of pack from back. When biking with a heavy backpack, for example, the tension should be maximized to keep your pack off your back.
